Interactive Brokers has introduced a unified prediction markets interface that allows clients to trade contracts from multiple US-based prediction exchanges through a single platform. The firm announced that users can now access contracts from Kalshi, CME Group, and ForecastEx without opening or funding separate accounts on each venue. The new service marks a major step in expanding access to prediction markets for retail and institutional investors alike.

The platform combines prediction market trading with Interactive Brokers’ existing multi-asset ecosystem, which already supports stocks, options, futures, forex, crypto, and bonds. As a result, clients can manage all positions from one interface while tracking portfolios in real time. Moreover, the firm designed the system to aggregate liquidity from all connected exchanges and automatically identify the best available net price for contracts after fees. Interactive Brokers stated that the interface simplifies trading by displaying similar contracts from different exchanges within one searchable environment.

Additionally, the intelligent order management system routes trades to the venue offering the most competitive execution at the moment market probabilities shift. Therefore, traders can respond to fast-changing events without transferring funds between multiple platforms. Initially, the company will focus on contracts tied to election results, economic indicators, and climate-related events. However, Interactive Brokers also confirmed plans to expand access to additional prediction market exchanges in the future.

Interactive Brokers Chief Executive Officer Milan Galik said prediction markets continue to reshape how investors approach uncertainty and risk management. He added that the company aimed to provide the same convenience clients already experience when trading equities and options through IBKR’s infrastructure. Meanwhile, Kalshi co-founder and CEO Tarek Mansour described the integration as a sign of growing institutional adoption in prediction markets. In addition, CME Group Chairman and CEO Terry Duffy emphasized that retail demand for prediction market trading continues to rise as investors seek new methods to express views on economic and financial developments.

The company explained that prediction markets provide investors with a structured and transparent way to hedge event-driven risks, diversify portfolios, and speculate on real-world outcomes. Furthermore, Interactive Brokers highlighted that its institutional-grade infrastructure, developed over more than four decades, powers the new platform. Eligible clients can already access the service, while contracts from Kalshi and CME Group will continue rolling out gradually across the platform.
