BLAST partners with global online trading provider IC, naming the company the Official Online Trading Partner of BLAST Premier and BLAST Slam. The agreement marks IC’s entry into the rapidly expanding esports sector and strengthens its broader international sponsorship strategy. Through the partnership, IC will gain visibility across BLAST’s Counter-Strike and Dota 2 ecosystems, which attract millions of viewers worldwide. Moreover, the collaboration will extend across live broadcasts, arena events, original content, and digital experiences available through BLAST.tv.
As a result, IC aims to connect with a highly engaged audience that closely aligns with its focus on technology, performance, and precision. The deal also expands IC’s growing sports sponsorship portfolio. The company already maintains a presence in Formula 1 through its partnership with the Toyota Gazoo Racing Haas F1 Team. By moving into esports, IC continues to position its brand alongside competitive environments that emphasize speed, strategy, and high-level decision-making. Under the agreement, IC branding will appear throughout the BLAST fan experience.
BLAST Partners With IC For Global Esports
Fans will encounter the brand through broadcast integrations, arena placements, exclusive content, competitions, and event activations. In addition, the collaboration will introduce IC as the presenting partner of BLAST Higher Lower, BLAST.tv’s Counter-Strike 2 skin value game. The activation focuses on value assessment, price comparisons, and rapid decision-making, creating a natural connection between gaming engagement and trading concepts.
Furthermore, IC plans to engage directly with fans through physical activations at selected BLAST arena events. These initiatives will provide opportunities for attendees to interact with the brand while experiencing the atmosphere of live esports competition. James Brown, Commercial Director at BLAST, highlighted the significance of the agreement, stating, “IC is exactly the type of ambitious global brand that shows where esports is heading. This partnership goes far beyond brand visibility.”
Meanwhile, Tony Philip, Chief Marketing Officer at IC, said, “BLAST brings together technology, performance, precision, and highly engaged global communities, making esports a natural extension of our sponsorship strategy.” IC will make its first appearance as an official partner during the BLAST Premier Bounty tournament in Malta, scheduled from July 25 to August 3. The event will launch the second Counter-Strike competitive season of 2026, with 32 teams competing for a prize pool of $1.15 million while selecting opponents through the tournament’s unique format.
