Interactive Brokers Group announced robust growth for October 2025, reflecting strong performance across all major business indicators. The broker recorded 4.472 million Daily Average Revenue Trades (DARTs), marking a remarkable 58% increase from October 2024 and a 16% rise compared to September 2025.

The company’s ending client equity stood at $781.5 billion, reflecting a 45% growth from the prior year and a 3% increase from the previous month, demonstrating sustained investor confidence and trading activity. Moreover, client margin loan balances surged to $81.6 billion, which is 39% higher year-over-year and 6% higher month-over-month.

Client credit balances reached $156.5 billion, including $6.3 billion in insured bank deposit sweeps, up 33% from the previous year and 1% higher than September 2025. The total number of client accounts grew to 4.230 million, a 33% increase from a year ago and a 2% increase from the prior month, underlining the firm’s expanding global customer base. 

The average commission per cleared commissionable order was reported at $2.63, including all exchange, clearing, and regulatory fees. Diluted earnings per share came in at $0.59, or $0.57 as adjusted, compared to $0.42 and $0.40, respectively, in the same quarter last year.

Additionally, net revenues rose to $1.655 billion, or $1.610 billion as adjusted, from $1.365 billion and $1.327 billion in the previous year. Commission revenue climbed 23% to $537 million, driven by a 67% jump in stock trading and a 27% increase in options activity, though futures trading dipped 7%. The firm’s income before taxes reached $1.312 billion, or $1.267 billion as adjusted, showing strong operational efficiency. Furthermore, net interest income surged 21% to $967 million due to higher securities lending and growth in customer margin loans and credit balances.
