eToro has shared its new Agent Portfolios feature, marking a first in AI-driven trading where users can connect their own AI agent to a live trading portfolio. eToro is gradually rolling out the feature, allowing users to test and explore AI-assisted trading with full control. With Agent Portfolios, users can create a dedicated sub-portfolio within their eToro account specifically for AI-managed strategies. 

They can fund it with any amount they choose, name the portfolio, and link their AI agent using a scoped API key, giving their agent the ability to trade autonomously within defined limits. The setup keeps users in control of capital allocation, agent connection, and operational boundaries, ensuring a balance between automation and personal oversight. Users can start with as little as $200, gradually scaling up as they gain confidence, and adjust budgets at any time.

Furthermore, by providing dedicated API credentials for each portfolio, eToro enables seamless integration with a variety of tools, from Python scripts and custom trading bots to LLM-powered agents and applications like OpenClaw. Getting started is straightforward and takes under five minutes. Users simply navigate to Agent Portfolios (Beta) on the eToro desktop platform, name their portfolio, allocate a starting budget, and copy the unique API key. 

From there, connecting it to an AI agent or compatible app is instantaneous, effectively activating autonomous trading. For added convenience, users can provide their AI agent with a prompt to download a skill package directly from eToro’s site, guiding the agent through the portfolio setup, investment amount, and strategy design. This initiative reflects eToro’s commitment to making AI trading accessible and customizable.
