Interactive Brokers upgrades its Client Portal, enhancing functionalities to better serve clients with new features and tools. Among the notable updates is the introduction of Overnight + Day orders, a feature designed to streamline the trading process.

This innovative option allows clients to place orders during the overnight trading session, with the flexibility for those orders to be active until the following day. The orders can be executed as SMART orders, which means they will automatically route to the best available market. 

This feature starts at 4 AM and remains active until trading concludes at 8 PM, giving traders ample opportunity to manage their investments effectively. To utilize this new feature, clients can easily navigate to the Order Entry Panel and select the Overnight + Day option from the Time-in-Force drop-down menu.
