Standard Chartered has introduced a new multi-sector credit fund, Signature Select Global Income Plus, under its variable capital company structure in collaboration with PIMCO, which will act as the sub-investment manager. The fund aims to capture top investment ideas from PIMCO across the entire credit spectrum, covering high-yield bonds, emerging market debt, and bank loans.

By doing so, the product seeks to deliver diversified total returns while managing volatility and mitigating downside risks. Additionally, it comes with a monthly distribution feature that makes it particularly attractive for clients seeking regular income. The fund is initially available to high-net-worth clients in Standard Chartered’s Private, Priority Private, and Priority segments who qualify as Accredited Investors or Professional Investors in markets such as Singapore, Hong Kong, the UAE, and Bahrain.

However, the bank has plans to expand availability progressively to other regions in the coming months. This step underscores Standard Chartered’s strategy of broadening its investment offerings and addressing the evolving needs of wealthy clients across its core markets.
