XTB Becomes Europe’s Largest MMA Sponsor Through OKTAGON Partnership

XTB has signed a strategic partnership with OKTAGON, a leading European mixed martial arts organization, becoming the largest MMA sponsor in the region. The agreement strengthens the Polish online broker’s footprint in combat sports and builds on its existing title sponsorship of Poland’s KSW promotion.

The deal marks XTB’s most extensive presence in European MMA to date. For the first time in OKTAGON’s history, a sponsor’s logo will appear on all fighter jerseys. XTB will also receive premium branding across live events, broadcasts, and digital platforms in OKTAGON’s core markets, including the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Germany.

XTB joins a growing number of brokers using combat sports to boost brand visibility. In 2024, Pepperstone became a sponsor of UFC Asia, while FXPro previously added Aleksandr Chizov as a brand ambassador. More recently, boxing legend Mike Tyson became the face of NAGA Group.

OKTAGON has expanded rapidly in recent years, dominating its home markets and setting European attendance records with events in Germany. The promotion plans its most ambitious year yet in 2026, with 18 events scheduled across multiple countries.

“This partnership is more than a logo in the cage,” said Pavol Neruda, OKTAGON’s co-founder. “It connects two brands that share the same mindset and ambition.”

XTB has steadily built its presence in combat sports since partnering with UFC star Conor McGregor in September 2022. The broker later added former UFC champions Joanna Jędrzejczyk and Jiří Procházka as brand ambassadors. Its broader sponsorship portfolio includes football legend Iker Casillas, alongside past collaborations with José Mourinho and current global ambassador Zlatan Ibrahimović.

The strategy continues to deliver results. Recent market data shows that four out of five newly registered brokerage accounts in Poland are now open with XTB.

With its OKTAGON partnership and its title sponsorship of KSW, XTB now holds the largest combined MMA sponsorship footprint in Europe.
